Mai Pood was born out of a personal desire to use good, healthy products without paying a fortune for them. The toxin-free eco products available on store shelves are often expensive, and their effectiveness didn’t satisfy me. So I began experimenting, starting with making soap. My husband and I immediately loved the homemade coconut soap, and using it daily in the shower made us go through bars as quickly as fresh bread.
Soon I created my first deodorant — surprisingly, it truly worked, didn’t stain clothes, and didn’t leave a waxy layer on the underarms of shirts. The laundry powder followed, driven by the wish to protect myself, my home, and my family’s health. Mai Pood was created to share natural, toxin-free home and body care products with others in Estonia! Every product is made by hand and with love.
