Ingredients (INCI): Sodium Carbonate (Washing soda), Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking soda), Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Cocoate (coconut soap flakes)

Usage: Add 1–2 tablespoons directly into the washing machine drum.

Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid moisture. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children.

🌿 Properties of the ingredients

Sodium Carbonate (Washing soda) – a natural mineral that helps effectively remove dirt and grease, softens water, and improves washing performance.

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking soda) – neutralises odours and helps loosen stains, leaving laundry naturally fresh.

Sodium Percarbonate – a gentle oxygen-based cleaner that breaks down into natural substances — soda and oxygen — during washing. Helps remove stains and unpleasant smells and is suitable for white, coloured, and dark laundry.

Sodium Cocoate (Coconut soap flakes) – a natural cleansing agent made from coconut oil; helps remove grease and dirt gently yet effectively.

It is recommended to add sea salt to the drum in addition to the laundry powder.
Benefits of using seasalt:

• Softens hard water: Salt helps soften hard water by reducing the impact of minerals such as calcium and magnesium. This allows the detergent to foam and clean more effectively.

• Preserves colours: A small amount of salt helps prevent colour fading by stabilising the pH of the wash water and reducing colour bleeding.

• Brightens whites: Salt helps keep white laundry brighter for longer by minimising the transfer of loose dye molecules from other clothes.

• Assists stain removal: It can act as a pre-treatment for stains — especially sweat marks and tannin-based stains (tea, coffee, wine) — making them easier for the detergent to remove.

• Deodorises: Salt has natural deodorising properties that help combat odours in laundry.

Risks:

• Corrosion: Excessive use of salt can cause corrosion of the washing machine’s metal parts due to the chloride content in sodium chloride.

• Seal damage: High salt concentration may reduce the elasticity of rubber and silicone seals, which can lead to micro-cracks and leaks.

• Residue: If the salt does not dissolve completely, it may leave abrasive crystals in the drum or on clothes.

Do not use salt with every wash — but when you do, always add it directly into the drum!
